Dog lovers, Big problem!!!! Moral issue with dog teeth?!?!?!?!?!?

In this age of personal expression through unique fashion statements, I%26#039;m thinking of taking my identity to the next level.





The thing is...





I have a Pekingese named Chester. He has a very distinct, vibrant smile when he%26#039;s aroused, which people constantly compliment. Due to new innovations in dental implant technology, would it be morally correct to have the dog, in turn, recieve my teeth?





The issue is not whether I should have my dog%26#039;s teeth, but would it be overly selfish of me to assume that my dog would be content sporting human teeth?





Please advise.


I don%26#039;t want to seem self-centered, and I want to make this a positive experience for both Chester and me.

Reply:Not a good idea. Dogs%26#039; teeth are meant to rend and tear. They don%26#039;t chew as we do when they eat, so human teeth would adversely affect his eating. Do not do this. Stay away from glue, weed, alcohol, formaldehyde, toluene and anything else that adversely affects your thinking. You have enough problems as it is.

However, I think that you should do this only if it will improve his eating abilities, etc (it probably won%26#039;t, they%26#039;re meat eaters y%26#039;know) If it%26#039;s just for cosmetic purposes, don%26#039;t do it. Even if he has crooked teeth, or whatever, you yourself described his smile as distinct and vibrant, and that it recieves lots of compliments. I think it would be mean to rob him of his uniqueness by doing that.





But seriously, if you just want to have your dog have some of your teeth purely for YOUR enjoyment, that%26#039;s just weird. Make it a special collar or something.

Dogs teeth are designed differently than ours. They are sharper and pointed to aid in tearing their food (from their wild days).


It would look ridiculous. Leave his teeth alone. it you get so many compliments about HIS teeth, WHY would you even consider this?
